Before you start using Autopilot, the administrators for Process Discovery, CoE Manager, and Control Room must configure each component to support the workflow.

To configure the workflow, perform the following configuration steps:

  1. Log in to the Control Room as an administrator.
  2. Create a service account user and create and assign a custom role to that user with the following permissions:
    1. View my bots
    2. Import bots
    3. View Users and Roles basic information
    4. Import to any developer private repository
    5. Generate API Key
CoE Manager setting

CoE Manager can assign an opportunity that has an attached Process Discovery PDD to a developer on any linked developer Control Room instances. To assign opportunities to developers, you must create linked developer Control Room instances and developer identities within CoE Manager. You can create as many linked developer Control Room instances and developer identities as you need. To configure a linked Control Room and to create developer entries perform the following steps.

  1. Log in to CoE Manager as an administrator.
  2. Navigate to Admin-Developers tab.
  3. Click Link Control Room option.
  4. Enter the Control Room URL.
  5. Enter the API User ID.

This is the service account user created in the Control Room.

  6. Enter the API Key.

This is the API key associated with the service account user.

    Create API key generation role

  7. Click Create.

The Control Room URL is displayed in the Control Room for Developers tab.

  8. Click Link Developer option.
  9. Select the Control Room from the drop-down.
  10. Provide a meaningful name for the user.

This name is used within the CoE Manager.

  11. Enter the unique email address associated with the developer user in the Control Room.
  12. Click Create.
Note: To assign an opportunity to a developer who has developer accounts in multiple Control Room instances, you should create a developer identity for each Control Room. The developer identity should have the Control Room in the identity name (for example, MarcusDevCR1, MarcusDevCR2).
