Starting with Automation 360 v.38, the Process Composer legacy editor will be permanently discontinued and no longer available for building process automations.

With the release of Next-Gen Process Composer in Automation 360 v.37 (build 37379), when you create a new process automation or open an existing one, it opens in the new Process editor by default. However, you had the flexibility to switch between the new and legacy editors:
  • To switch to the legacy editor:
    1. Click the three vertical ellipsis in the editor.
    2. Select Switch to legacy editor.

    4. The legacy editor page appears.

  • To return to the new editor:

Note: The switching capability between editors was introduced to allow our developers to use the legacy editor while also enhancing their experience with the new editor. This improvement aims to make the process of building more efficient by using design tools and additional functionality on the new editor.

However, starting with Automation 360 v.38, this option will no longer be available. All process automations will open in the new editor, with no ability to revert to the legacy editor.

This change is designed to improve the automation experience. The new editor not only matches the capabilities of the previous version but also provides advanced features for designing complex, high-level business process models. It offers a significantly enhanced developer experience and better support for modern automation requirements.
