Upgrading the Automation Anywhere Enterprise Client
- Uninstall any existing Enterprise Client (versions before 11.3).
- Install the full version of the 11.3 Enterprise Client.

- Deactivate all the active schedules, pause the active workload management queues, and ensure the bot Player is not running.
- When the major or patch version is upgraded, activate the schedules and resume the workload management queues.
- When upgrading the Control Room from Version 11.3.5 or Version 11.3.5.1 to Version 11.3.5.3, you will experience a
downtime, while performing a HA setup. Before you start the
upgrade, perform the following actions:
- Pause all the workload management queues and ensure that there are no Work Items in progress.
- During the upgrade, the Enterprise Client might be disconnected from the Control Room. Log in again to all the devices after the upgrade is complete.

versions such as Version 11.3.5, Version 11.3.5.1, or Version 11.3.5.2, in the Service
Credentials and Provide Elasticsearch
Credentials screen, enter the same password you
provided in the previous version (Version 11.3.5, Version 11.3.5.1, or Version 11.3.5.2).
When you perform a script installation of the Control Room Version 11.3.5.3 patch on Version 11.3.5, Version 11.3.5.1, or Version 11.3.5.2, include the AA_CRSERVICEUSERNAME, AA_CRSERVICEPASSWD, and AA_ESPASSWD parameters for service and Elasticsearch credentials. You must provide the same password for the user name as the one that you provided in the previous version (Version 11.3.5, Version 11.3.5.1, or Version 11.3.5.2).

the Control Room installation
folder.
For example: C:\Program Files\Automation Anywhere\Enterprise\config
- Create a property file with the filename as
quartz.properties.
The property filename is case-sensitive.
If the property file already exists, open it in the edit mode.

again. After setting up the LDAP credentials, restart the
following Control Room services to automatically
restart the FQDN fetch job:
