BeyondTrust Password Safe integration

You can integrate Automation 360 to retrieve credentials from the BeyondTrust Password Safe. The credentials become resident within the BeyondTrust Password Safe where they are managed, rotated, and synchronized.

This integration is supported for Automation 360 On-Premises and Cloud deployments.

For Automation 360 On-Premises deployment, BeyondTrust Password Safe integration is supported for these use cases.
  • Auto-login
  • Automation
  • Active Directory (AD)
  • Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP)
Note: Configuration for On-Premises deployment is done using CRUtil.
For Automation 360 Cloud deployments, BeyondTrust Password Safe integration is supported for these use cases:
  • Auto-login
  • Automation
Note: In Automation 360 On-Premises Control Room deployments, A360 Service Account and Database (DB) use cases are not currently supported in BeyondTrust Password Safe integration.

Integration overview

Automation 360 integrates with BeyondTrust Password Safe for secure credential management in Cloud and On-Premises environment. The Control Room manages operations including privileged access management, security configurations, and user management, focusing on unattended Bot Runner users for automation tasks and mapping usernames with managed systems.
