Moving data using Control Room operations

You can manually move bots and queues from your On-Premises Control Room to Cloud using the Bot Lifecycle Management and Workload Management import and export features.

For the rest of the data (such as users, roles, lockers, and so on) in your On-Premises Control Room, you must manually move the data to Cloud, if required.

  1. Use Bot Lifecycle Management to export bots from On-Premises Control Room to a local system and then import them manually into your Cloud Control Room.

    See: Bot Lifecycle Management.

  2. Export Workload Management queues from the On-Premises Control Room to a local system.

    See: Export queues.

  3. Import Workload Management queues manually into your Cloud Control Room.

    See: Import queues.

  4. Move the rest of the Control Room data manually using the Cloud Control Room operations. For example, to manually move roles from your On-Premises Control Room to Cloud, export the roles from your On-Premises Control Room and manually create the roles in your Cloud Control Room.
  5. After the moving the data is complete, ensure that you perform the Post-requisite tasks.
