You can use the Approval task feature to approve tasks quickly and directly. The need for approvals applies to many business tasks. With the Approval task, users can submit and receive approvals while staying notified of progress, without breaking concentration from streamlined work flow. Additionally, decision making becomes simplified when managers can quickly review the information of a task requested for approval, and they can directly respond with attachments and comments. This human interaction has a designated space within Automation Co-Pilot and the Process Composer for configuring and automating across applications and roles.

The Approval task is a process element that you can add and configure in the Process Composer. This enables functionality in Automation Co-Pilot for business users and decision makers to share information within the automation, improving response time that can otherwise take longer to resolve due to the complex nature of cross-functional decision making.

By running an Approval task, each team member can leverage their unique role and responsibilities in a single streamlined automated task. This means the experience for approving contributors is tailored to the function of their role, while business users continue their familiar automated experience with the added benefit of immediate updates and details when requests are approved.
