CoE Manager Plus - Integrate with Microsoft Power Automate

You can integrate CoE Manager Plus with the Microsoft Power Automate environment to monitor your automations and calculate the savings achieved. There are no limitations on the number of Microsoft Power Automate environments you can link to with one instance of CoE Manager Plus.

Procedure

  1. In the Microsoft Azure, register a new application and generate client and tenant ID.
    1. Navigate to App registrations > New registration .
    2. Provide a name for the application.
    3. For the supported account types, select the option Accounts in this organizational directory only (Automation Anywhere only – single tenant).
    4. In the redirect URI field, select Web as the platform.

      Leave the URL blank. You must add the generated CoE Manager callback URL here.

    5. Click Register.

    6. Copy the unique Client ID and tenant ID to clipboard.

  2. Generate client secret.
    1. Navigate to Certificates & secrets.
    2. Click new client secret.
    3. Enter a description.
    4. Select the validity period of the client secret.
      Recommendation: Choose 180 days (6 months).
    5. Click Add.
    6. Copy the generated client secret to clipboard.
      Note: The client secret will not be available once you move away from this screen.

  3. Set the API permissions.
    1. Navigate to API permissions.
    2. Select Power Automate in the Request API permissions tab.
    3. In Flows permission field, select Read All permission.
    4. Click Add permissions.

  4. In CoE Manager Plus, navigate to Admin-Tech tab.
    You must have RPA admin or RPA tech-admin role to access the Admin - Tech tab.
  5. Click Add Automation Integration.
  6. In the Create Control Room Integration screen, provide the following details:
    1. Provide a name for your integration.
    2. Select Microsoft Power Automate in the Vendor field.
    3. Provide the vendor URL.
    4. Click Create.

  7. Copy the generated redirect URI to clipboard.
  8. In the Microsoft Azure portal, navigate to Authentication.
    1. In Configuration platforms, select Web.
    2. Provide the redirect URI generated in CoE Manager Plus.

  9. In CoE Manager Plus, enter the Client Secret, Client ID, and Tenant ID generated from Microsoft Azure portal.
  10. Enter the Environment ID from your Power Automate environment.
  11. Click the Click to Authorize to authenticate.
    Note: The enabled integrations run every four hours and thus data is pushed from the Power Automate environment to the CoE Manager Plus periodically.

    A connection is now established between CoE Manager Plus and Power Automate, and a success screen displays confirming the successful connection. The Enabled column automatically changes to Yes when you save the Client secret, Client ID, Tenant ID, and Environment ID.
