Export IQ Bot learning instance

Use the Export IQ Bot learning instance action to export all the active learning instances from IQ Bot.

Prerequisites

  • Log in with IQ Bot admin role to the Control Room. For other roles, ensure that you have the View and Manage Migration permission to use the IQBot - Document Automation Bridge command package actions.
  • Ensure that you have enabled the Bot Creator license.
This action exports the IQ Bot learning instances as an archive (.la) file that contains all the details required for document extraction.

Procedure

  1. In the Actions palette, double-click or drag the Export IQBot LI action from the IQBot - Document Automation Bridge package.
  2. In the Learning instance name field, select the server instance from the list that you want to export.
  3. In the Output Path field, click Browse to select an existing folder path from the Desktop folder tab.

Alternatively, click the Variable tab to manually enter an existing folder path.

  4. Optional: In the Save the response to variable field, add a variable. For example: select prompt-assignment - string from the drop-down list.

A variable value in this field provides information about the file upload process: if the upload is success or failure; and the reason for the failure.

  5. Click Save and Close.
The learning instance is exported, and an archive file is generated in <<file path/GUID.la>> (Example, C:\Output\734dc555-c29f-4adb-9957-96a57566f231.la) format with IQ Bot OCR configurations, domain data of the associated learning instance, groups and their corresponding training, and learning instance definition.
Note: You can also label the archive file to indicate specific reference to the learning instance name along with the export date and time.
