Use the Send Text command to send text to the terminal. This
command also enables you to send predefined keys after the text to perform various
operations in the terminal. You can use this command with the TN3270E, TN5250E, ANSI,
and VT100 terminal types.
To send a text to the terminal, do the
following:

Expand the Terminal Emulator node in the Commands tab.

Double-click or drag the Send Text operations.
The Terminal Emulator dialog box appears.

Select the Encrypt Text check box to encrypt the value being set in the field.

Specify the value you want to send in the Text field.

Select the Send a key after sending the above text check box if you want to send a key after sending the text.

Select the key you want to send from the list.

Select an option from the Wait for text or prompt to appear list
if you want the system to wait for the prompt appear on the terminal:

Do not wait: Select this option if you do not
want the system to wait for the prompt or the specified text to appear
on the terminal.

Before sending text: Select this option if you
want the system to wait for the prompt or the specified text to appear
on the terminal before sending the text.

After sending text: Select this option if you
want the system to wait for the prompt or the specified text to appear
on the terminal after sending the text.

Before and after sending text: Select this option
if you want the system to wait for the prompt or the specified text to
appear on the terminal before and after sending the text.

Click Save.
