Setting up Auto Login

Set up Auto Login to run automated tasks on unattended machines.


  1. From the Enterprise Client, select Tools > Options > Login Settings from the top menu bar.
  2. Select the Auto Login your computer when the task runs check box to enable your bots to use the Auto Login features with all of your automated tasks.
  3. Enter the Windows Login Credentials for the user who auto logged in.
    Specify a user that has authorization to run the tasks in the bot on the computer:
    • Username: Enter the fully qualified name of the user. For example, US-AA/john.smith.
    • Password: Enter the password for the user you have specified.
    Note: If an external key vault with a strict retrieval policy is configured in the Control Room, the username and password fields are disabled, and the login credentials must be retrieved from the external key vault only. You will not have the option to use different Windows credentials with the external key vault.
  4. Select the Bypass legal disclaimer check box to automatically accept possible legal disclaimers when the bot logs in to a machine.
    The Bypass legal disclaimer in enabled only if you have selected the Auto Login your computer when the task runs check box in Step 2.
  5. Click OK.
