Control Room installation wizard checklist
Prepare your responses for the list of fields and options presented when you run the Control Room installer wizard.

Before launch installer
Verify the compatibility of Control Room version. |
Uninstall Control Room if the
version is earlier than Version 11.3. Note: Installation will not proceed if you are installing
over the same version.

Accept or exclude either or both. |
Express
Select if you want to do a quick installation using the default parameters. |

Custom
Select if you want to configure the installation options and for a data center deployment. |
Custom installation mode provides options to make decisions
for IP clustering, Transport Layer Security (TLS), service
credentials, database information, Certificate Authority, and
other related configurations. Custom installation is required for all non-physical platform installation options, such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. |
Select destination folder
Default: C:\Program Files\Automation Anywhere\Enterprise\ |
Accept default or prepare new destination folder. |
Cluster: Enable Cluster Setup
This check box is enabled by default if IP addresses are configured on the installation machine. Disable the check box to install the Control Room without a cluster. |
Disable or enable the checkbox. |
Cluster: Cluster IP addresses
Specifies the IP addresses for IP cluster setup. |
Enter at least one valid IP address. Option displayed for Enable Cluster Setup. |
Cluster: Local IP address
The local IP address configured on this machine that other Control Room installations should use when connecting to this Control Room. |
Select the local IP address from the drop-down list. Option displayed for Enable Cluster Setup. |
Transport Layer Security: Self Signed
Certificate
Allows the installer to generate a unique private key and a self-signed certificate for the Control Room. |
Disable the check box to import a custom certificate. |
Transport Layer Security: Certificate Path
This is the location of the custom certificate that you have stored in an accessible location. This information is only needed for importing a custom certificate (when you disable the Self Signed Certificate option). |
Enter the location of the custom certificate. |
Transport Layer Security: Private Key
Password
Password for the private key. This information is only needed for importing a custom certificate (when you disable the Self Signed Certificate option). |
Enter the password. |
Transport Layer Security: HTTP Port
The non-secured and unassigned web server port number for accessing the Control Room. |
Enter an unassigned port number. |
Transport Layer Security: HTTPS Port The secure and unassigned web server port number for accessing the Control Room. |
Enter an unassigned port number. |
Transport Layer Security: Force HTTP Traffic to
HTTPS
Redirects all HTTP port requests to HTTPS. |

Service Credentials: Local System Account
Uses the logged on user credentials to create database tables and allow the Control Room to access the database and repository. |
Disable the check box to specify a non-local system account user from a specified domain. |

This information is only needed if you are using a domain system account user. |
Databases: Microsoft SQL Server or
Oracle
The database type for Control Room and Bot Insight. |
The default selection is Microsoft SQL Server. |
