Create a role

As an administrator, you can configure roles with permissions to access features and perform operations such as create, edit, or delete a bot in the Control Room, and assign the role to a user.

Prerequisites

Ensure that you have the Manage roles permission.

Note: You can create user roles with any or all permissions and user roles that are similar to the system roles. However, ensure that you understand the risks involved in creating and assigning such user roles. For example, if you create a role with permissions similar to AAE_Admin, such users will be able to make changes to the Control Room settings.

Assign specific permissions to each user. You can only select active users.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Administration > Roles.
  2. Click Create role.
  3. Enter the Name.
  4. Optional: Enter a description.
  5. Select the feature permissions.

  6. Click Next.
  7. Based on the option you select, perform the required action:

    View my bots permission Select the bots permissions.

  8. Click Next.
  9. Select user from the list.
  10. Click Create role.
