Review the requirements and support information about updating your Control Room and Bot Agent for the v.41 release.
Bot Agent updates
Note: This release includes an optional
Bot Agent update. You can continue to run your existing
automations without updating the Bot Agent. However, if you
want to use the new features in Automation 360 v.41, you must
update the Bot Agent available with this release.
For more information on updating to this
release, see these resources:While the Bot Agent update is optional in most of the updates rolled out for Automation 360, in environments where auto-update is enabled but auto-deploy is disabled for triggers, you need to log into the browser session after the update is rolled out to activate the trigger listener.
Note: Ensure that you verify the support plan
before determining an update path.
- On-Premises customers with a minimum support plan of Platinum (for example, Platinum or Titanium) can update directly to the latest Automation 360 version from up to the previous four releases (n−4).
- Customers with a support plan below Platinum must follow the n−3 update path. However, the support team would not assist you with any issues that might arise from an n−4 update if your support plan is below Platinum or Titanium.
