Build and run a hello world agent to quickly become familiar with the UI Agents.

About this task

Ensure the Large Language Model is set up before you begin, and have your API key accessible. See, Set up Narada for UI Agents.

Follow the below steps to build an UI Agent in your Automation Anywhere Control Room tenant.

Procedure

Create your first UI Agent, using all three actions to complete the configuration.
  1. Title your task bot Hello World and add all three actions from the UI Agents package to complete the operation.

  2. Add the Start session action with the following configuration.
    1. Select Action Model > Automation Anywhere Narada.
      Other models can be chosen at your discretion.
    2. Enter the API Key generated from your Narada setup.
  3. Add the Run session action with the following configuration.
    1. For the Starting URL, enter https://www.automationanywhere.com/contact-us.
    2. Enter your Goal as the following. 
      Fill in the details in Contact Us form. Do not submit.

    3. For the Output file path, enter <specify a folder path>\UIAgentLog.json.
  4. Add the End session action configured to your web session.
Run the task.
  1. The first-time run will automatically download the UI Agents in the Bot Runner machine.
    Note: This can take several minutes to complete the first time. Once the command package download is complete, your UI Agent (i.e. task bot) will automatically start.
