Review what's new and changed, and the fixes and limitations in Process Discovery Sensor for the v.2.5.3 release.

Optional Terms and Conditions page during installation Previously, the Process Discovery Sensor installer never presented a Terms and Conditions agreement, so every installation proceeded without one. Starting in version 2.5.3, a Terms and Conditions page can be turned on for individual customers who require one. The setting is configured into that customer's Process Discovery Sensor MSI build, not into the installer generally, so each customer's build behaves according to their own configuration. When Terms and Conditions is not configured for a customer: that customer's MSI build does not include a Terms and Conditions page. The installation flow is unchanged from prior Process Discovery Sensor versions, and users can complete the installation without being asked to accept any agreement. When Terms and Conditions is configured for a customer: the customer supplies the Terms and Conditions text, and that text is built into their MSI build. During installation, the sensor displays the configured Terms and Conditions page and requires the user to explicitly accept it before setup continues. If the user accepts, installation proceeds normally. If the user declines or closes the page without accepting, installation stops and the sensor is not installed. |
