Use the External Vault page to manage lockers and their access for a selected vault connection.
Authorized users can configure external vault connections in Control Room and map lockers to the required external vault connection.
When a locker is mapped to an external vault connection, credentials in that locker are retrieved from the selected external vault. You can use different external vault connections for different lockers, depending on your organization’s credential storage and access requirements.
Note: In Automation 360 v.41 and
later, locker management for external vaults is available through the following options,
depending on the features enabled for your environment.
- If the option is visible, use this flow for all external vault related activities, including managing lockers and credentials. This flow is designed for environments that use one or more external vaults.
- If not, use flow to create lockers . See Create locker.
- When is visible, the option remains visible too. However, external vault related credential and locker creation options are no longer available through the flow.
