Change Requests capture modifications needed for work that is already planned or in progress. When an Activity is linked to Jira, its Change Requests can also be linked to Jira sub-tasks. This adds more detailed tracking for smaller pieces of work inside the main Jira item.
Note: Change Request linking depends on the related Activity being
linked to Jira. The Change Request is tracked as a sub-task within that Jira work
context.
Synchronize Change Request status
Status updates are synchronized between CoE Manager Plus and Jira.
When a linked Change Request is updated:
- Changes made in CoE Manager Plus are reflected in the corresponding Jira sub-task.
- Status changes made in Jira are reflected in the associated Change Request.
- Teams can track implementation progress from either application.
Procedure
- Open an Activity that is already linked to a Jira work item.
- Create a new Change Request or edit an existing Change Request.
- In the Jira Sub-task field, select an existing Jira sub-task or create a new sub-task.
- Save the Change Request.
