Activities represent the work being planned or delivered for an automation opportunity. With Jira integration enabled, an Activity can be connected to a Jira work item so teams can manage execution in Jira while tracking the same effort in CoE Manager.
Activities can be associated with the following Jira work item types:
- Epic
- Bug
- Story
- Task
- Any custom work item type configured in Jira
Synchronize Activity status
Status updates are synchronized between CoE Manager Plus and Jira.
When a linked Activity is updated in either application:
- The corresponding Jira work item status is updated.
- Activity status changes in Jira are reflected in CoE Manager Plus.
- Users can monitor progress from either system without manually updating both applications.
Procedure
- Open the required Opportunity.
- Create a new Activity or edit an existing Activity.
- In the Jira Work Item Type field, select the appropriate Jira work item type.
- Create a new Jira work item or select an existing Jira work item.
- Save the Activity.
