Change your default device - A device where you install Bot Agent in order to run automations is the default device. Even though you can have many devices, you can only choose one to be the default device in the Control Room .

A device where you install Bot Agent in order to run automations is the default device. Even though you can have many devices, you can only choose one to be the default device in the Control Room.

Procedure

  1. Log into the Control Room.
  2. Click your username and click My settings.
  3. Click the Devices option.
  4. In the Default device section, click Edit.
  5. Click Choose.
    A list of available devices is listed that includes both Windows and macOS.
  6. Select the device that you want to set as the default and click Save changes.
    The selected device is set as the default device for running your automations.
    Note: Ensure that you select the default device based on the platform that you have used to create your automations. The Run Task Bot icon is only displayed for the automations compatible with your default device.

    For example, if your default device is macOS, only the automations created using macOS platform will have the Run Task Bot icon.
