Create custom connectors for various web applications or services that use APIs and use them in your automations.

Prerequisites

Ensure that you have the Create/Edit custom connector packages permission.
Note: You will see two tabs, Published and Connectors, when you access Manage > Packages with Create/Edit custom connector packages permission.

Procedure

  1. Log in to your Control Room.
  2. Navigate to Manage > Packages.
  3. On the Packages page, click the Connectors tab.
  4. Click Create connector.
  5. In the Create connector window, enter an appropriate name for the connector.
    Note: The name and description that you enter for the connector will be used as the package name and description in the Bot editor and API Task after publishing the package.
  6. Optional: Enter an appropriate description.
  7. Optional: Enter the base URL for the connector. For example, https://your-instance.example.com.
    The base URL specifies the network address of the API service. This URL is used to define the API endpoint URLs.
    Tip: The base URL is replaced when you Import API definition containing the base URL.
  8. Click Create & edit.
