The RPA Bots for Excel solution in the Automation Anywhere platform enables users to automate Excel business processes by running bots directly from the Microsoft Excel toolbar without switching to the Automation Anywhere Enterprise interface for those functions.

    The Control Room can be a Cloud or On-Premises deployment.

  • Automation Anywhere Enterprise Version or later

    Control Room can be deployed on either on-premises servers or cloud servers.

Authentication and session management improvements

Use your Control Room API key for authentication and session management. Your credentials are saved for seven consecutive days of active session while using any Excel document.

Enterprise-signed SSL with the Intermediate Level Certificate is now supported for authentication and data transfer for RPA Bots for Excel.
Fixed features
Internal bots created by the system are no longer displayed in the Bot drop-down Excel list from the Run a bot page.
The latest version of the Excel plug-in is displayed at the bottom right-corner on every page of the screen.
