RPA Bots for Excel installation Prerequisites (on-premise and on cloud)
Learn about installation requirements to ensure your environment is ready to begin using RPA Bots for Excel.
Verify that your systems meets the following prerequisites for your deployment:
An IT Admin performs the on-premise installation on a separate, dedicated server. The server can be a physical machine in your data center or a virtual machine on a cloud platform. The dedicated server is used as an integration server for the RPA Bots for Excel plug-in to help manage all communication in and out of the Control Room. The integration server is a self-contained web server that is operating on a node. The URL of your server can be the machine name plus the domain name, or a domain or sub domain URL that is assigned to this machine. The URL is the endpoint to access the integration server that is being installed in this machine. The Integration server uses HTTPS default port 5512. The intranet must allow the traffic over the port that being used by the integration server.

- Enterprise client and Control Room. The Control Room URL must be open from the Enterprise client machine.
On Cloud installation
On cloud installation does not require an integration server installation and SSL certification exchange. The on cloud integration server is hosted through Microsoft Azure.
