Creating a new category

Categories can be used to allocate forms and task lists into respective functions. Users with Developer or Delivery role can create, edit or delete categories in Human-Bot Collaboration Designer.

Consider a scenario where you need a form that is used to generate sales invoices. Developer or Delivery user can create a category called Finance, before assigning the form to this category. When a team is associated with this category, all the members of this team can execute bots in Human-Bot Collaboration Assistant for invoice related tasks.

Procedure

  1. Sign in to the Human-Bot Collaboration Designer as Developer or Delivery user.
    • Click Administration > New Category if you have signed in as Developer user.
    • Click New Category if you have signed in as Delivery user.
  2. Update the following fields:
    1. Name: Enter a name for the new category.
    2. Description: Enter a brief description for the new category.
  3. Click Save.
